Microsoft Master Certification
MOS Master Certification is automatically awarded to holders of specific MOS Certifications.
A student is required to pass exams based on a mixture of core and expert certifications for selected Microsoft Office Applications.
The MOS Master Certification
is applicable only to Microsoft Office 2016.
The Microsoft Office Master Certification has been updated for newer versions of Office:
Microsoft Office Specialist Expert: Office 2019
and
Microsoft Office Specialist Expert: Microsoft 365 Apps
It is important to note that each Office Application has different criteria for achieving MOS Master or MOS Expert Certification.

2016 Master Certification
To earn the Office 2016 Master certification you must fulfill the following requirements.
Pass these 3 Core Exams

Exam 77-725: Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2016. |
 |
Exam 77-727: Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016. |
 |
Exam 77-729: Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2016. |
plus these 2 Expert Exams

Exam 77-726: Microsoft Office Specialist Word Expert 2016. |
 |
Exam 77-728: Microsoft Office Specialist Excel Expert 2016. |
and EITHER of these Elective Exams

2019 Expert Certification
To obtain the Microsoft Expert 2019 level certification you must first become a
Microsoft Office Specialist Associate
Students earn individual certificates for each exam they pass.
When a student attains any 3 of the 4 available associate certifications they will be awarded the

365 Apps Expert Certification
At the time of writing, Microsoft has not issued all the exams for Microsoft Office 365 Apps.
It is expected that the same criteria for Office 2019 will apply to Office 365 Apps using the newer exams.
At present, awards will be made for a mixture of certifications from Office 365 and Office 2019 as follows:
To obtain the 365 Apps Expert level Certification you must first become a
Microsoft Office Specialist – Associate.
You must pass 3 Associate Exams.
(Note all 3 must be in different programs and at least 1 must be from a Microsoft 365 Apps Exam).
When a student attains any 3 of the
available associate certifications they will be awarded the
Microsoft Office Specialist - Associate

365 Apps Expert Certification
